ANTELOPE Big Buck Outfitter's, Inc. harvested antelope average over 5 years old, with 80+ inch antelope taken most years and mid-70s being the average buck. The quality of antelope is a little better on the Montana hunts with 14-16 inchers being average, but the quality on the Wyoming side is not far behind with 13-15 inch bucks being the norm. Expect to see lots and lots of antelope on a hunt with Big Buck Outfitters, Inc.

Antelope archery hunts begin August 15, and the rifle season begins as early as September 15 in one unit, allowing rifle hunting during the rut. There are also several other rifle openers scattered throughout September and October. Big Buck Outfitters, Inc. stops hunting buck antelope around the first of November each fall because the mature bucks begin to shed their horns at this time. Our antelope areas do not have the preference point concerns of other areas in Wyoming — we can draw our units with no points, or one at the worst. It is possible to add an additional antelope buck in our hunt areas. This allows clients to take two buck antelope in Wyoming in one season. Please inquire regarding the specifics.
